October wins! What an incredible month for snakes around the world! We are so proud to share the impact your support helped us achieve:

California History Made!
The threatened Giant Gartersnake is officially California’s State Snake! This designation is the culmination of tireless work and will lead to greater resources and awareness for this endemic species. Now hundreds of thousands of California students will learn about this snake EACH YEAR!

Global Heroes Funded!
We delivered critically needed grants to conservationists on the front lines in Mexico, Myanmar, and Kenya! This funding supports vital work, from reducing human-snake conflict to protecting endangered snakes, like the Mount Kenya Bush Viper.

Spotlight on the Imperiled Southern Hognose!
We brought attention to the struggles of the unique and shy Southern Hognose Snake, which is in rapid decline due to habitat loss and other threats. Public awareness is the first step to protection!
